Giving Tuesday

Together We Support Our Bloom Township Students. Your generosity makes a huge difference!

Through your generosity, the dollars raised will support our Bloom and Bloom Trail Students including:

  • Lab Equipment for the Anatomy and Physiology with Kinesiology Course – investment in additional equipment is needed to further enhance experiential learning in this interdisciplinary course that explores the structure and function of the human body. The equipment to be funded in the upcoming academic year will continue to build hands-on learning opportunities for students in this course, which is one-of-a-kind in the south suburbs.

  • Bloom Trail Neubauer Auditorium – the equipment upgrades to the Auditorium continue after the Foundation was able to purchase a new cyclorama last year.  In the next phase of upgrades, the Foundation will purchase fog and haze machines for theater productions as well as new LED moving head stage lighting.

  • Bloom Career and Technical Education – interest in vocational education continues to increase including in the District’s welding classes.  The Foundation seeks to purchase more multi-process welders to accommodate additional students.

  • Robotics Program – the Robotics club continues its growth and success by qualifying three teams for this year’s state competition.  With more students participating in Robotics, the need remains for additional equipment such as positioning sensors for more advanced robot design, construction and programming.

  • SD 206 Band - the band continues to advance their performance skills to rise in the standings of various recent band competitions.  The band’s drumline has been in use for almost 25 years and desperately needs replacement.  The Foundation seeks to purchase a brand-new drumline including snare drums, tenor drums and base drums ($20,000) over the next two years

  • Fine Arts Week 2025 – which engages our students in workshops and performances with professional artists including muralists, acrylic portrait artists and graphic modelers.

  • Student Newspaper – funds are needed to form an after-school club to re-establish publication of The Broadcaster student newspaper.

Thank you for making a HUGE difference!
